1. Aim to maintain the chlorine level in the water between 0.9 and 1.1 ppm and the pH between 7 and 7.4. If you use a salt chlorinator, you should add 30 ppm of isocyanuric acid at the beginning of each season and then maintain the chlorine and pH parameters mentioned above.
2. Try not to use well water that may contain metals, as well as algicides containing copper sulfate or other metals. Use algicides based on quaternary ammonium, which is better for your skin and hair.
